I think I've watched nearly all of the Hallmark movies available on Netflix, lol. :) Narellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665380446283721576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-595659053834718732018-07-07T05:23:42.194+10:002018-07-07T05:23:42.194+10:00Each day brings new opportunity for hope. How sad, but as you say, she's definitely not alone! All a person can do is provide soul-nourishing books, whether through writing or providing them, but it's a big world out there. I prefer the uplifting ones myself.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-22718118176238813892018-07-06T17:35:29.278+10:002018-07-06T17:35:29.278+10:00Thanks Ian. Life is awful sometimes and we should not shirk that truth, but there always has to be hope as our God is the author of hope. I haven't seen 'The Bookshop' and all kinds of movies and literature have their place, but I want to write and read stories which feed the soul rather than drain it. Otherwise what's the point?Sue Jeffreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06198695729535623216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-37478743968797814842018-07-06T08:21:02.120+10:002018-07-06T08:21:02.120+10:00I agree that hope in some shape or form is so impo...I agree that hope in some shape or form is so important, Carolyn. I know I have so little time for reading right now that when I do, I don't want to read bleak novels that do not encourage and uplift me in some way. On the other hand, I don't like sugary sweet novels either--hard to please! Jo-Anne Berthelsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09775045057529728396noreply@blogger.com
