Also been to one at the local bookshop when it was open. Haven't been to any at Koorong as they haven't had one when I was there. I also went to a signing in Dymocks Adelaide for Rosanne Hawke. I have done a number of in-store signings myself in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, but have always found that the Australian reading public don't appear to be particularly impressed. Even after radio advertising, I found a number of friends, and 3 or 4 others who would both to come especially for it. I'm afraid what we see on television, with the long line of fans might either be fantasy or American culture. I always try to support book signings if one is going on. Paula Vince and I held a book launch together, with double the friends and family.
