And I also am so thankful for those prompts from the Spirit that point us in the right direction--so much so that I often wonder how writers who do not have a vital faith manage to navigate this tricky, writing journey.Jo-Anne Berthelsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09775045057529728396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-43972355419422549742017-10-29T15:22:49.322+11:002017-10-29T15:22:49.322+11:00Yes, on reflection, I think you are right, Paula, ...Yes, on reflection, I think you are right, Paula, so thanks for that insightful comment. As for the lady I mentioned, well, that has yet to play out, but I hope she achieves her heart's desire and isn't disappointed along the way.Jo-Anne Berthelsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09775045057529728396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-18073070805860588982017-10-28T16:49:33.623+11:002017-10-28T16:49:33.623+11:00Thanks for your post, Jo-Anne. Wonderful to remember that the Spirit can give us wisdom and keep us grounded. We can't escape those moments of humility. I wonder what happened to the lady you were talking to.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-54614814605435511862017-10-27T10:29:24.975+11:002017-10-27T10:29:24.975+11:00Yes, I agree, Catriona--it's the best perspect...Yes, I agree, Catriona--it's the best perspective of all to have! And that's a great point that all that self-doubt lots of authors seem to have gives us the opportunity to stop and reflect. Hopefully, I will see you at the writers' conference this weekend!Jo-Anne Berthelsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09775045057529728396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-37433701122319351532017-10-27T09:15:08.722+11:002017-10-27T09:15:08.722+11:00Hi Jo-Anne, yes, very much so! And I say it is healthy because it gives up opportunity to stop and reflect, and to remember what small fish we are in a huge ocean; but also to remember that the beautiful thing is, we are known by name by our creator and His plans and His will are what we as Christian writers strive towards. I think that helps keep things in perspective, too. 🙂Catriona McKeownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01755816934717121501noreply@blogger.com
