I definitely recommend The Cupcake Dilemma by Jennifer Rodewald, which had a definite Valentine's theme ... so that's my new favourite!Iolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17199141868703826943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-2482784488726359242018-02-19T13:29:31.463+11:002018-02-19T13:29:31.463+11:00I also wonder if it's the time of year - it...I also wonder if it's the time of year - it's the beginning of the school year, when teachers are trying to settle the children back into learning after the long summer holidays. They don't need an excuse to spend a day making cards :)Iolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17199141868703826943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-57182948419026397252018-02-14T20:09:28.692+11:002018-02-14T20:09:28.692+11:00Hi Iola, At Inspy Romance on the weekend I shared ...Hi Iola, At Inspy Romance on the weekend I shared a post recommending three Valentine’s themed contemporary Christian romances. I also added JoAnn Durgin’s ‘The Valentine Verse’ to the top of my tbr list after multiple recommendations from Inspy Romance readers on my blog post. Happy Valentine’s Day :) Narellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665380446283721576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-57073205238076815282018-02-14T20:04:24.526+11:002018-02-14T20:04:24.526+11:00Hi Jenny, I agree - Valentine’s Day isn’t as big a...Hi Jenny, I agree - Valentine’s Day isn’t as big a deal here as it is in the US and other parts of the world. Maybe Aussie’s are cynical about the commercialisation of holidays? I know I did get a series of novella's at one time I think set around this day but I cant remember. It has never meant a lot to me the day as I am single never married. I have had a couple of cards over the years but mainly from American pen friends. until around 20 - 25 years ago it really didn't mean much to Australians. I have seen it grow but still not to the status it is in America. Ausjennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07644698706787568679noreply@blogger.com
