Unless I'm really in the zone, I can easily get distracted by food cravings :) Narellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665380446283721576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-24871196385721437602014-10-19T18:56:44.052+11:002014-10-19T18:56:44.052+11:00Hi Narelle,

Thanks for the reminder that indulging in candles may help us work.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-45938774515109960172014-10-17T16:28:30.299+11:002014-10-17T16:28:30.299+11:00Hi Cat, I agree, the memory recall aspect is helpf...Hi Cat, I agree, the memory recall aspect is helpful and powerful. I've also found the scents calm down my children, which makes for a more serene home environment :) Narellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665380446283721576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-3092213466928622002014-10-17T16:23:48.536+11:002014-10-17T16:23:48.536+11:00Hi Jo-Anne, your freesia candle sounds lovely :) I...Hi Jo-Anne, your freesia candle sounds lovely :) I hope your editing is going well.Narellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07665380446283721576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-85862712492887751322014-10-17T09:45:35.162+11:002014-10-17T09:45:35.162+11:00I've never thought of doing this! Our sense of smell is a powerful tool for memory so could be employed to remember an area we have been to for research as well as for simply 'getting in the mood' as you suggest.Catherine Hudsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03947906623825971761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-515660504291275491.post-8740519910465084662014-10-17T08:15:42.846+11:002014-10-17T08:15:42.846+11:00I love candles, Narelle, and often have one burnin...I love candles, Narelle, and often have one burning on my desk here in my study. The one I have here right now is a freesia one given to me by my lovely mentor. It is made from natural soy wax and has the brand 'Serenity' on it. Sounds good for those editing times, which is what I am doing right now! But I also love them because just seeing that lit flame reminds me of the presence of God as I write, which I find so important..Jo-Anne Berthelsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09775045057529728396noreply@blogger.com
