Photobucket is another ...Hi Iola - Thanks for that. Photobucket is another site that has free photos; however, you have to beware as some photos are not free. Also, some users upload pics that they don't own the copyright for. So sometimes you might download a photo you think is free, but it's actually not. It's a good idea to do a quick check on the person who uploaded the photo. I came across someone who had uploaded 100s of pics of celebrities. They looked like professional shots, not just snaps. However, when I searched on the photographer's name, he didn't seem to have any web presence. I figured if he was a legitimate photojournalist, I should have been able to find out something about him. As you note, it's up to us to check what we're doing. And if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Bookmarking this post for future reference. I had no idea about the landmarks being trademarked. We learn something new every day. I try to use my own (without ever knowing that before) or sticking to sites like Pixabay or Pexels. I heard someone say that all (or many) of the photos from wikipedia or Wiki sites are usually free for all, but haven't been able to verify that.
