Narelle here. Welcome to our ACW Tuesday Book Chat where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Let's chat. How do you discover new books?

  1. Recommendations from trusted friends. Awards. Reviews from trusted blogs. If the price is right. And the cover will get me in. (And the blurb. And the opening pages...)

    1. Recommendations from trusted friends are the main reason I try books from new-to-me authors. I've also purchased books after reading our Thursday blog reviews.

  2. Recommendations from friends; reading something intriguing about the author or hearing an interview, then use ebook first chapter function. Interesting that it’s rarely from reading reviews - although I might skim through a couple to confirm my decision.

    1. The first chapter preview is helpful. Sometimes I'll download Kindle samples to read later.
