It's Iola here. Welcome to our ACW Tuesday Book Chat, where we encourage book lovers to answer our bookish question of the week. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Do you share book recommendations on social media?
I'm a book reviewer, and I share my reviews, book quotes, and other bookish posts on social media. I also share reviews by other people of books I've enjoyed, or books I want to read. Please join in the conversation in a comment on this post or in a comment on the blog post shared in our Australasian Christian Writers Facebook Group. Or, if you're feeling wordy (like me), write a blog post and link to it in the comments.
Not often, but sometimes I share a short review of a book I found particularly good. I do however find really good books to read from reviews that you share, Iola,, as I have come to trust your taste in books and what is that you write in reviews. I guess I should share more book reviews. I am more likely to write a review for Amazon because they remind me.
ReplyDeleteI'm always happy to hear someone likes my reviews!
DeleteSometimes. I will now do it more often. Thanks for this encouragement.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to write book reviews - any form of sharing is good :)
DeleteYes I do. I post reviews on Goodreads, which then go to my Facebook tiemline. From there I share them on my author page. I haven't done so on Instagram or Google + yet, but I'm getting to it. I also post reviews on my author website.
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
DeleteI post book recommendations on my blog and share the links on my Facebook Author Page and Twitter. I also tweet reviews and recommendations by book bloggers.
ReplyDeleteAll great things to do, and none of them are difficult. I know I always appreciate it when someone shares one of my book reviews, and I'm sure other bloggers do as well. It benefits you, the blogger, and the author.
