My intention with this series of articles is to address one of the most common issues I see in writing: lack of a clear genre.
This was addressed in a recent post by Rochelle Gardner on minimising the obstacles to publication. One obstacle was not being able to name a genre for your book, while another was related: not understanding your audience (hint: your audience buys by genre).
