Let's chat. Which Easter-themed book has inspired you?

  1. I realise you are looking for a different answer but I cannot pass by this question without saying how much reading the latter part of the book of Matthew in the Word of God has touched me this year. I am seeing so many tiny nuggets glossed over before. Read this morning how Peter WEPT when he realised he had denied the Lord when he was being tried and sent to the crucifixion. The anguish this great disciple suffered at that time must have been the worst kind of grief. And to know that Jesus knew this would happen ahead of time....how he must have felt about it.

    1. Hi Rusty, The Bible is the most relevant resource and the source of our inspiration. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. :)

  2. I am not sure. I have read some really well done children's books about Easter while teaching Sunday School to the 4 -6 or 7 year olds. I am not sure I have read a lot of other purely Easter books.

    1. Hi Jenny, Children’s books are great because they zero-in on the heart of the message. It’s interesting that there aren’t many books specifically marketed for Easter. Unlike Christmas, which is almost a genre of its own.
