So, today I thought I'd share the five books I am hanging out to read this summer.
The Lake House by Kate Morton
Kate Morton only writes a book every 2-3 years. I have literally been counting down to the release of her next one since over a year ago. Enough said.
Stars Over Sunset Boulevard by Susan Meissner
Susan Meissner writes exquisite historical/contemporary stories. This one is set around the filming of Gone With The Wind. Merry Christmas to me!
Falling Like Snowflakes by Denise Hunter
I've become a committed must-read Denise Hunter romance fan with her latest series - Chapel Springs. This book starts the new Summer Harbor series and promises to be just as great.
The Bronte Plot by Katherine Reay
Katherine Reay's takes on literary classics are spellbinding. The Bronte Plot, her third book, is already gathering rave reviews.
Vendetta by Lisa Harris
I'm not usually a huge suspense reader, but I've heard such great things about Vendetta I'm going to have have a read!
These are just five from my summer reading list, which at last count was over twenty long. What books are you hanging out for this summer? (or winter if you're a Northern hemisphere friend!)
Kara Isaac lives in Wellington, New Zealand. Her debut romantic comedy, Close To You, is about a disillusioned academic-turned-tour-guide and an entrepreneur who knows nothing about Tolkien who fall in love on a Tolkien themed tour of New Zealand. It will be an April 2016 release from Howard Books. When she's not working her day job as a public servant, chasing around a ninja preschooler and his feisty toddler sister, she spends her time writing horribly bad first drafts and wishing you could get Double Stuf Oreos in New Zealand.
